Hot Glue Society Craft Camp

The Society in Bloom

A Hot Glue Society Spring Retreat

As the season shifts and the garden begins to wake, Hot Glue Society invites you to step into spring with intention, creativity, and a touch of elegance.

The Society in Bloom is a curated weekend retreat centered around garden-inspired crafting, slow moments, and the joy of making things by hand. Designed to feel like an old-world society gathering with a modern, playful twist, this experience blends creativity, comfort, and connection.

Throughout the weekend, guests will take part in multiple guided craft projects inspired by spring, growth, and the beauty of handmade details. Between crafting sessions, enjoy homemade foods, thoughtfully prepared mocktails, and a cozy tea service meant to be savored — not rushed. All crafts will be announced before the event.

In true Hot Glue Society fashion, the weekend also includes a special side activity, to be revealed closer to the event. (Think a little unexpected, a little indulgent — and very fun.)

Saturday evening, we’ll close the day gathered together with a lighthearted group game, because no society gathering is complete without laughter and a bit of friendly competition.

This retreat is:

  • Beginner-friendly

  • Intentionally cozy

  • Designed for creativity without pressure

  • A space to slow down, try new things, and welcome spring together

Come as you are. Leave with handmade pieces, full hands, and a refreshed spirit.

This event is 18+

There are multiple options to join us! Join for one day or all three!

Welcome to The Society in Bloom.

Curious about crochet but not sure where to start? Crochet 101 is a beginner-friendly class designed to introduce you to the basics in a relaxed, supportive setting.

In this hands-on workshop, guests will learn essential crochet skills including how to hold a hook, create a foundation chain, and work basic stitches. The focus is on building confidence, understanding the rhythm of crochet, and enjoying the process — no prior experience required.

This class includes:

  • Introduction to crochet tools and materials

  • Foundational stitches and techniques

  • Guided practice with hands-on support

  • Tips for reading patterns and continuing at home

All materials are provided, and guests will leave with their first crochet piece in progress and the knowledge needed to keep stitching on their own.

Slow stitching. Good company. A new skill to take home.
